John Denver - Sunshine On My Shoulders

News Feed

I've come to realize what kind of Nation we have become, "Cowards in the comfort of our own homes." How can we stop anything from happening, When all we do is come together behind a Computer or IPhone? I personally feel like I've let my Nation down, and my grandchildren. It's going to take more than just posting information on a Face Book wall to beat the Elite. Lol. And I don't see that happening. Okay then just set back and wait for Doom. Oh yea. It's coming. Count on it. R.I.P. Mr. Lavoy. Your family should hold their heads high and feel extremely Proud. Thank you.

Scientists said on Thursday they recorded particles travelling faster than light - a finding that could overturn one of Einstein's fundamental laws of the universe.
www.telegraph.co.uk
  • Back in the 1990's, scientists in a lab where able to slow light down by passing it through super cooled gases. In the early 2000's, they were able to get light to 'stop' and speed it up again. There was even a report, about 10 years ago, by another group of scientists, about how they were able to get light to travel faster than 186,000 miles per second (the generally accepted speed of light). What all of this means is that the 'speed of light', if you can stop it, slow it down and speed it up again, is no longer a universal speed limit; it is just a matter of figuring out the technology with which to travel faster than 186,000 miles per second. Where there is a will, there is a way. I believe it was Einstein who once said that, the word "impossible" should have no place in the vocabulary of a true scientist. Food for thought.
