After a 12-hour drive from just outside Toronto, Darlington Fusion wanted to make a winning start to their 2014 Jefferson Cup campaign at West Creek Park. Provincial cup finalists in 2013, Darlington are based in Clarington, Ontario and play in the Ontario Youth Soccer League in their native Canada. This year is the first time they have sent a team to the Under-16 Classic division in the Jefferson Cup.

The US Youth Soccer National League Under-14, Under-15, Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 Boys completed their third and final day of matches Sunday at Heritage Park in Henderson, Nev., alongside the 2014 Players Showcase, with certain teams booking their ticket to Nationals this summer in Germantown, Maryland.

The Virginian Elite Showcase has announced that its girls College Showcase matches will be hosted by the new Evergreen SportsPlex facility in Leesburg, Va., in 2014. The state-of-the-art complex of synthetic-turf fields located northwest of Dulles International Airport, Evergreen SportsPlex staged a "soft opening" last fall, drawing rave reviews among the Northern Virginia soccer community.

The Jefferson Cup, regarded as one of the top rated youth soccer tournaments in the country, features some of the nation's top natural grass playing surfaces in the country and over 24 synthetic turf fields. Teams can qualify for 2015 edition here.
 
VA: PWSI Icebreaker - Two Weekends in Late March - Mar 22-30
Prince William Soccer is pleased to invite all travel select teams to the 2014 Icebreaker Tournament. The Icebreaker is the largest preseason tournament on the East Coast. It is USYSA sanctioned also open to US Club Soccer teams. U9-U12 Boys March 22-23. U13-U19 Boys and U9-U19 Girls March 29-30.
 
MD: Maryland United FC Spring Breakout - Mar 22-23 and Mar 29-30
The event is open to all US, Canadian and International competitive and classic club teams ages U9-U19. All games played on Bermuda grass fields at White Marsh Park (200 Bloomfield Farm Lane, Centreville, MD). Contact tournament@mdunitedfc.org to learn about club discounts. Application Deadline: February 15. 
 
VA: McLean Premier Soccer Tournament - Mar 22-23 and Mar 29-30
The McLean Premier Soccer Tournament is a great warm-up for the spring season! The girls compete March 22-23 and the boys take the field March 29-30. Open to travel teams ages U9 through U12. ALL games played on premier artificial turf fields in Northern Virginia - conveniently located just off the Capital Beltway, just 15 minutes from DC.

IL: 2014 Puma Champions Cup College Showcase - Apr 4-6
For U13-U19 Boys & Girls, Rockford, IL. Application deadline is March 9. College Showcase format for U15 and older age groups with three 80 minute games. The U13 & U14 age groups will have playoffs and awards for 1st and 2nd place teams and also play 80 Minute games. Sports fuel will be provided by Gatorade once again this year.

NC: 2014 Twin City Boys College Showcase - Apr 11-13
Join us for the 2014 Twin City Boys College Showcase at BB&T Soccer Park in Advance, North Carolina (one of the top facilities in the Southeast). College teams will play alongside u15 to u19 Boys club teams.

The Empire Cup College Showcase invites boys and girls teams U-15 through U-19 to participate in our 11th Annual Empire Cup College Showcase in Rochester, NY area. It is the premier college showcase in the Northeast, drawing nearly 100 coaches each year due to high level competition, great natural grass facilities, and great atmosphere.
 
VA: Virginian Elite Showcase - May 24-26
Applications for the 2014 edition of The Virginian Elite Showcase are now open. Don't be left out of the biggest Memorial Day event on some of the best venues in the National Capital Region. We turned teams away last year for the first time in several years, and this year's tournament should draw even more teams.

VA: WAGS Tournament Qualifier - Jun 21-22
Applications for the WAGS Qualifier are now online. Limited to the first 16 teams in each age group (U12-U17), the top two teams in each age group will automatically qualify for the 2014 WAGS Tournament in October. All Qualifier games will be played at Morven Park in Leesburg, VA (Loudoun County).

Applications for the 2014 WAGS Rael Vodicka Memorial Tournament Presented by the NSCAA are now available online. All U13-U19 games will be played on Turf Fields; U11-U12 (8v8 & 11v11) will be played at Morven Park in Leesburg, VA. U16-U19 will be showcase format 1 game per day (Sat, Sun, Mon). Early acceptance runs to March 1, with those teams having priority on hotels.
