Robin Jedele-Pescada and Judy Woodard, who both won a Physicians Mutual family cookbook and picnic blanket for sharing their favorite picnic dishes with our readers. | Enjoy the Sunshine, but Keep Your Skin Safe |
Did you know between 40 percent and 50 percent of Americans who live to age 65 will get one of the two major types of skin cancer at least once? Or people who use sunscreen daily show 24 percent less skin aging than those who don't? So whether you're heading to the beach, the golf course or just mowing the lawn, remember to protect your skin. Stay in the shade, especially between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. And use a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher and reapply it every two hours. |
