The latter stages of Champions League or a country's cup competition; youth tournaments; the NCAA tournaments - anything where teams can be eliminated and matchups come unexpectedly. The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup has left a lot of us wanting more. Which is great because, as Washington Spirit forward Tiffany Weimer argues, there is more, lots more. 
 
 
How these four Jersey girls took the soccer world by storm: At least as far as soccer goes, Jersey girls do indeed do it better. They proved as much in this past Women's World Cup, with four players (Carli Lloyd, Christie Rampone, Heather O'Reilly and Tobin Heath) - the second-most of any state - on a team that won its record third title. 
 
 
Mexico suffers disappointing 0-0 draw with 10-man Guatemala in Gold Cup: Any positive feelings from Mexico's 6-0 rout of Cuba in its Gold Cup opener were washed away Sunday with a disappointing 0-0 draw against 10-man Guatemala at the University of Phoenix Stadium. El Tri failed to score in a Gold Cup match for the first time since 2003 and now sit in second place in Group C with four points, two points behind surprise leader Trinidad and Tobago, a 2-0 winner over Cuba earlier on Sunday.
