Freedom to Marry

Take action
The Supreme Court has rendered a historic ruling on marriage equality. What does this mean for you?
The U.S. Supreme Court’s historic ruling in favor of marriage equality is a major victory for lesbian, gay, and transgender rights in America. Loving same-sex couples in all 50 states can now have the freedom to marry.

Learn how this decision affects you.

While many LGBT Texans hope to celebrate their nuptials immediately, some government officials may not understand what the law requires. We’re here to help. Call our marriage equality hotline 1-888-503-6838 to have your questions answered and report discrimination.

Tell us if you are denied the right to marry.

Sincerely,

ACLU of Texas

I have to go to my brother and sister-in-law's house at 506 Milwaukee Street Houston, Texas 77009 just to get away from the heat and the contamination at the house on Terry Street where I am having to live because I can't afford anywhere else right now. The house on Terry had a fire in 2009 and has never been repaired. I need immediate assistance now before I die in that house. I'm been trying to get help ! I need help ! My brothers...
